Love the net-front battle on the JVR goal. Freddy mixing it up and JVR has a really weird like… insane puck skill. I don’t love him anywhere outside of that goal line, but god damn I’m happy with his battle in front of the net.

He made some good plays defensively around the slot in that period. Good stick, a neat bat of a puck out of the air and the bat was actually aimed to Frederic for a pass.

He's been better defensively tonight than I've been giving him credit for.

I was going back n forth to this game and the football game

I have the Jags in my NFL draft so I had to watch the end of that game, (which almost went to OT) but I did see the two goal 21 second outburst by the B's

The new Bruins uniforms remind me of the Blackhawks from a distance

That was his only big downside that period. Led to a big chance for Hoffman at the other end. Redeemed himself with a real good shift that led to the Marchand goal before he switched off for a line change

I had that feeling about Beecher early on…definitely appears my first impression was wrong. Slick with good size. Seems pretty smart out there.
