welp...we wasted all out PP's...I doubt we get another and I'm sure the Jets will get one in final 5 minutes.

Spooner's playing some soft, soft hockey. He's afraid to go in on the Winnipeg defense. Just makes a stupid rush pass.

What happened to the Spooner that was so good in the preseason?

The WCH was going on and his impressive games were against AHLers.

He'll have his moments and should have a big game sooner or later. Will let us have 2 really good power plays since Claude will play him over Brad on PP1.

I don't ever remember Spooner playing well with Krejci as his centerman when they are 5 on 5... They just don't mix well...

Much happier with Carlo and O'Garas decision making than C. Miller.

Everyone is growing, so who knows...but at this point C. Miller really looks like a specialist.

If they scored there with Wheeler in the crease, I would have lost it.

If that goes in, it shouldn't count. I get how Wheeler was "pushed" in, but I hate when that gets used as an excuse as the guy clearly milks it trying to get out of the crease because he knows he is obstructing the goalie.

So Heinen makes a great pass on the PP (that Spooner should have buried) and another one to set up the odd man rush...and he needs to be sent down?

On his worst day, Heinen still brings more to the table than Hayes.
