You cannot call one guy for roughing in that situation without calling 2 mins on another player for roughing. There was some pushing both ways. Handing out 2 mins in that situation is obvious game mgmt.

100%. The guy has been hunting Lindgren all game - and really going back to last year. The refs made the right call but they don’t have the balls to stand behind the call basically negating it in deference to the home crowd. So weak. And watch the refs give Boston some freebies in the third. Especially if the rangers capitalize on what’s left of the major.
Would appreciate the league looking into the Pasternak-Lindgren garbage but they won’t.

In general I think calm and steady is the way forward. But this has been going on for a while with Pasternak hunting Lindgren and no one does anything. When the league ignored the headshot last year it should have been clear the team has to handle it.

As far as I can remember those two have gone at it. Even in the COVID season I can remember Pasta always going out of his way to try to dangle Lindgren

Playoffs are different. Here we need to rack up points. That starts with discipline. This kind of hit in the playoffs, where momentum dominates, undoubtedly draws the ire (and retribution) of CK and Trouba; it could also lead to Edstrom replacing Brod in the subsequent game.
