Up for this tonight, got the day off tomorrow.

Sens still bring a lot of soft PPs for to the table even without Stutzle. I hope that the first PP they get for some sort of infringment drawn by Tkachuk is a double minor for nasal readjustment resulting in a claret facewash.

AX vs Tkachuk tonight will be interesting.

Tkachuk didn't want nothing to do with Xhekaj in the pre season lol

Just heard Drouin’s comments from earlier today, and this guy just doesn’t get it.

I know I will regret asking, but what did he say?

Said that it isn’t his job to forecheck and to chip/dump the puck to go retrieve it, that he wants to play offensive style.

I get what he means, but it’s everybody’s job to apply pressure and all the best players chip pucks deep. It’s like he will never understand what to say or that in his head its already over.

He said he plays a simple game which probably means losing the puck instantly when he gets pressured…

Earlier this year when he was taken out because of rotation he said “nothing i can do about it I just need to train and do my thing”, like have some standards. Not everyone is getting taken out of the line up, show that you want to play.

Yes... I indeed regretted asking. Thanks though.

To be fair, that's not exactly what he said.

He got asked if coming back and playing on the 4th line was a good thing since the game/plays should be simpler.
And his reply was: "I don't know if I like playing simple [game], I like playing offense and get scoring chances. That's my game, it's not chipping in and forechecking. Creating plays, creating offensive chances, that's my game, I think."

We're pass the point where we can blame Drouin to be Drouin, he's not going to start playing like a grinder out of nowhere, he won't create offense either but that's another story for another day.

I want to see him centering Slaf and Anderson, I think he's a better fit than Evans.

23 minutes before the return of the great Drouin. My senses are tingling.

Might as well get it out of the way early. Wish we would have drafted Mr.Character Brady Tkachuk.
