You mean go like 3-0?

They'll be home games anyway

LA, Pittsburgh and Montreal is stiffer competition than Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. We take that many penalties next week and we won't be talking about a win streak over Christmas dinner.

Hell if they go 1-1-1 as long as the win is over the Pens I'll be happy!

I think Jones just got double-shifted, Werenski certainly wasn't off the ice for long.

I have seen him shake his wrists several times recently. Not sure if that's related - as it appeared to just be a shot block tonight.

Understand as it's always easy attribute as "the best" more recent play, but I just don't recall in the past such crisp passing on the rushes or so many nice tic tax toe / nice assist plays.

Good reason for that MoeBartoli, it has never happened like this before. These Jackets are not just passing the puck around the exterior, they are systematically moving the formations until they get gaps. and they are also throwing blue line bombs when we have men in between the dots. I don't recall any prior Blue Jacket team doing this, most of those teams were 70 pt teams in a season. What do we have 44 in 29? No comparison, PP ES... we have had successful PK in the past, but this team is on record pace in that specialty as well. Walking on sunshine:D

Yep. And a lot less dump and chase play than on many prior seasons.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes.....YESSSSSSSS!!!!!
****ING YES!

Still finding ways to win.
Overcome 2 fluke goals, and the other goal was a rebound on a PP.

As a former Canucks fan, this was a great victory....really wanted this one.

Tough part of the schedule coming up, 3 games in 4 nights against solid competition. Think the CBJ will be fine.

Warning.... keep an eye the Minnesota Wild...... their numbers are very close to ours....

For 17 years the Wild have been our expansion brother pain in the neck......

They are putting up stunning numbers..

Didn't pay the cable bill? I appreciate your passion, but it's ok to turn the TV back on, it will be fine...this is the season you SHOULD be watching, 13 of the previous 15 have been the unwatchable ones!

Nothing like that. I want to watch, trust me. Just been a superstitious person when it comes to streaks. They won again today, so I'll be following on Twitter again on Tuesday. I know this is nuts, but I don't care anymore. I like the winning too much.

And why does it matter to us what the Wild does? They're in the other conference. They're irrelevant to me until the SCF, if both teams get that far.

Wow, if you are this big a part of the team you should call them up and get on the payroll.

So how is this supposed to work? Do you just wait until they stop being good? So next rebuild, in so many years in the future?

If they want to float me a check, I'd be more than willing to accept. I'm not sure when I go back to live TV or how that will work. I know this is crazy and unreasonable but as long as the wins keep coming, it is what it is.

I live in Columbus, but work as a consultant about 50% of the time in Calgary and was able to go to both games this weekend. My 2 cents...

The Calgary game was such a dominating performance as to be almost boring. The fans around us were not very happy with the Flames, and for good reason - they're just not very good. That 2nd period was about as dominating a period by the Jackets as I've seen. Sure the Flames had a lot of possession and shots in the 3rd, but nobody felt like they were going to get back into the game.

Today we had seats a few rows behind the CBJ bench. Its such a different game from down close - even Hartnell looks fast! One of the things that I noticed is that the guys are really loose. Even after Vancouver came back and tied it (not right after) they'd come back smiling and joking with each other. Except for Boone. He seems way too tight and is probably trying too hard to make things happen. I'm no expert, but it seems like he just needs to play his game more instead of forcing things. And Seth Jones - what a monster out there. His skating is so smooth and he handles the puck so well. Really looking forward to him in a CBJ sweater for a long time.

Anyway, great time in western Canada and the CBJ are now 4-1 in the road games that I've seen.

And all the Canadian fans that we talked to at the games were great and very complimentary about the CBJ. Mostly along the lines that we deserve this after so many years of mediocrity.

I think it would do amazing things for this franchise if the CBJ could land in 1st place for the Christmas break. That would require two wins of the three games as long as one of them is against Pittsburgh.
