Why was that waived off? Very late decision by the linesman there.

I think they ruled that the puck could have been played by a Blues player on its way out near The Canucks' Blueline. It went by only a few inches from his stick. I guess he wanted The Blues to get the faceoff in The Canucks Zone, with Thomas on the ice.

It's obviously something leg related. He could barely move in the four games he did play.
Most likely a tear that he keeps re-aggravating.
But it'd be nice if somebody would actually tell us what's going on.

Unlikely they tell us anything unless they end up shutting him down for the year.

Nice stretch pass to Holloway and breakaway by him. Demko made a very nice pad save on his shot. Holloway and Bolduc are both looking very good this game. It's the improvement because of getting more ice time and more time playing together with linemates and shiftmates that makes me think The Blues will have a decent chance to make the playoffs in a Wild Card Spot. The team's roster and play during the first couple of months wouldn't warrant that. But The Blues have a decent amount of young talent that only needs experience to keep raising the level of their games. not to mention that I expect a couple others to get NHL ice time this season.
