The refs make the even-up ticky-tack call on The Blues on a weak "trip". Hofer makes a couple great saves, but The Canucks get the goal, anyway, as The Blues couldn't clear it, and Parayko knocks it in by accident.

The Blues played pretty well in The 2nd Period. Too bad they had a cheap penalty called, and then Parayko knocked it in. But, I LOVE the chemistry between Bolduc and Holloway. We need to get them a centre!!! Hofer played well, too. The Blues 2 Power Plays were like night and day. The first one was lifeless, with everyone staying on the perimeter and passing the puck around the boards and Blueline, and hardly shooting, and no one going to the net. The 2nd one had The Blues moving around, going to the net, forming screens and making crisp passes to teammates moving inward for a closer shot, rather than AWAY from the net to avoid defenders. On the score, they got the defencemen to move leaving a shot line. I hope they'll be playing it that way from now on. Both Bolduc and Holloway getting hot, and Broberg's return should all help our Power Play success.

Got a bad feeling about this one. Feels like a 4-3 OT loss. Really wanted to carry that 3-1 lead into the third.

Perron getting better with age was a freak of nature.
Doubt we ever see anything close to that again.
