no Hayes is a good step in the right direction

excited to see how that 2nd line looks with Heinen again and hopefully the 3rd line can do something. Spooner, Czarnik...Nash...step it up!!

Looking forward to this one. I think our guys have a lot to prove, that somebody other than Pasta can score if nothing else.

The clip of the toronto fans enduring misery following the epic game 7 OT goal against the leafs never gets old. Its very easy to relate to the misery though in you have been around long enough.

Time to get on track tonight boys.

Let's Go Bruins!
Flyers 2010?
Anyway B's have to win this game.

God, I love that Leafs fan video from 2013.

"Toronto is the youngest team in the league and will only improve with time."

Um....*checks watch*

Interesting lineup. A "fight fire with fire" strategy, perhaps - bringing in all the young guns from Providence, and FINALLY, FINALLY benching Jimmy "Vegas" Hayes? (Yes, I know his nickname is Broadway, but I'm trying to make that new nickname a thing. For reasons.)

This isn't a game we need to win for morale. We're already in point debt - we need to win this game for the POINTS. I don't care if it's 5-0, 3-2 SO, or something in between (like 4-3....), but those two points are...what's the phrase I'm looking for?

Oh, yeah. At a premium.

offense better show up, Pasta deserves better.

He sounded so defeated in post game interview and loved what he said about not wanting to talk about his goals.

Saying and doing all the right things at 20...hard not to love Pasta.

Knigs doing their part to help with a 3-1 lead over Ottawa after 2.

Very interesting call in this game. Two players came together in the corner each in pursue of the puck. A LA player's stick broke, Neil was assessed the usual 2 for the slash and went to the box. Four Officials then huddled and decided to reverse the call (not a video review) as there was no appearment slash of the stick by Neil. The call appeared to be largely a reaction to the stick breaking. We have many times moaned at this type of play being called a minor penalty. Not aware of any precedent set for it being overturned in this way.

Are we on the verge of the NHL allowing more latitude on the interpretation of the rule before or after a call is made by officials on these types of infractions?

Props to Chirs Neil tonight for playing in his 1000th game today. Not bad for a 6th rounder. Well Done Chris!

I am sure Pasta is fine playing on this team....he sounded defeated because they lost...lol. Having Bergy and Marchand on his line is a dream come true ... After all they were good enough for Crosby in the World Cup.

yea I know WHY he sounded defeated...he was the only one on offense to show up. And they lost.

That's why I said I hope the rest of the offense shows up because the 20 year old trying to carry the offense on his back deserves better.

I am pretty sure Pasta is fine too..he is tied for lead league in goals :yo:

Still no Vatrano, eh?

Id imagine he'll get at the very minimum 3 games in PRO before hes in the Bs lineup. Get the legs going, get the match fitness going, and get that rifle shot going, I doubt they throw him straight into the bigs when hes ready and hasnt played since last season.
