Quinn is just looking for every reason to scratch this kid. Its really unfortunate. Gauthier has done a great job at drawing a fair share of penalties. I understand the frustrations of the penalties he took Monday but cmon let the kid keep building on that offensive talent and ability. And the thing is he has been hustling and back-checking really well lately. But we get to be blessed with PDG and Howden over him.

Why is Chris Drury going to be behind the bench? To ensure ice time allocation and benchings happen the same as if Quinn was there? Or is it because they want 3 guys on this temp coaching staff because it might be too much for just the 2 Hartford guys?

I'm legitimately curious. Imagine this staff comes in and completely force feeds more kids into the game with success (not necessarily saying a win, but if they make way more of an impact...)

FWIW Gauthier was penalized three times but one was a double minor. That’s 8 minutes in penalties and the Flyers scored two goals off of those calls. That’s not disciplined hockey.

To be fair trying to project your voice and also speak clearly so that people can understand you with the mask fully on is a pain in the ass. I think a lot of coaches are probably guilty of pulling it down to make it easier to speak to the team and then forgetting to put it back over their nose.
