I think I’m seeing why we aren’t seeing much from the kids... they just aren’t strong enough. they aren’t strong enough to make their own space. they constantly get pushed off the puck and it’s why they can’t grt to the middle. they need to focus a huge amount on their strength in the offseason.

That and first step speed/explosiveness. They can't quite get away yet.

Yea that’s what I’ve been saying all year. They’re literally still growing in size. All the worry is really premature. At 19-20 you cannot put on as much muscle as you can when you’re 22 or so and up.

I couldn’t put on much muscle until I was 24 or so.

Just wait until we fire off the knuckle puck for 10-0.

This has seriously been a beat-down. I get there's sportsmanship, but this has been great for breaking slumps. We've gotten the big save from Georgiev when needed. They're on the forecheck, stealing pucks. It's a game where absolutely everything is going right.

I nominate Quinn to fight someone...for his job.

I think skating is just as big of a problem. Kakko and Laf are decent skaters once they get going but their first few steps need to be more explosive.

I’m really noticing it more with how they aren’t able to exert their will at all where the other lines are.

Brian Trottier was a bad coach. Mika confirms it. Quinn was the problem.. Undeniable
