Nyquist plays with a different level of confidence and creativity down in GR. He dominates.

Here he plays afraid and with no confidence, which I tend to blame Babcock.

No, he plain old flat out loses puck battles like an inexperienced light weight. That's not a confidence issue.

It would be nice to see Nyquist find that level of confidence in the NHL, other than his skating he hasn't done much to impress yet.

Has Tatar been playing with a new level of confidence since being sent back down?

I swear to god, Kronwall waits until the defender blocks his shooting lane. If he has a clear lane, he waits, waits.... NOW and shoots it into the defenders skates.

Stamkos plays zero D and I am always a little surprised when true superstars and Stamkos is one, cannot will their team into the playoff. The guy is the best goal scorer in the league and an offensive dynamo and I realize there are other issues with the team, but still you would expect Tampa to be better than they are just because of his presence.

There's just too much parity for that to be feasible. This isn't the late 80's where a super star can carry his team in his back like Yzerman dud leading his team to the playoffs in a weak division. That team just has too many holes to overcome. Kind of disappointed with Yzerman's result thus far.

Jimmeh with a .930-ish save percentage tonight. Gustavsson would have given up 3-4 already. We're still in the game amazingly.

Give me a break...you are trying to compare Gustavsson who has started 5 games to Howard who has started more than 20 games?!

He'd be more effective if he just tried it hit ankles...At least then the oppositions best shot blockers would miss a couple shifts.
