I've stopped paying attention to 90% of those particular media folks who continue to doubt us.

I happened across my season preview issue of The Hockey News today. I looked at their playoff predictions.

9 of their 16 predictions are not in the playoffs today. I understand it's still very, very early in the season, so it's just an update.

FWIW - they had Dallas and Tampa playing for the Stanley Cup. They might turn out to be correct, yet - but just think about that for a minute.

Meh, I'd risk my entire 2017 pay on Dallas not making it to the Finals, let alone winning it. They don't have the defense or the goaltending.

Tampa has shown they can play without Stamkos, but they're also used to getting more consistent play out of Bishop.

As for tonight, I'm expecting a win. Maybe its foolish but with the confidence we have and Bob seemingly back to the top of his game, I feel like we should give them a little payback after the stinker we had when they came into our barn right before Thanksgiving.

I said in the Edmonton GDT that this was the game that worried me. Johnson was good against them at Nationwide. Hope the Tampa game brought him back to reality and he doesn't stand on his head again. Leave that for Bob
