A bit of a side note, but that is a guy who you have to wonder about what is going on. Seattle is in for a long rough period, if he doesn't get it together.

I think he's kinda like a Sam Bennett without the reckless abandon. He's fast, he's hard-nosed, but he lacks creativity. Crash and bang 2nd/3rd line Center and not a #1C. Seattle stills needs to find their #1C anchor.

Gotta think Disco Dan was giving to the boys. It's going to be interesting who comes out swinging today, the Sharks have the momentum but Seattle need to respond.

You can just see Smith’s confidence growing. It’s pretty interesting that he had a very similar growth trajectory in college (as everyone who watched him in college suggested). I’m curious if he continues the way he did there in the NHL and starts to actually dominate in the second half of the season. I think he’s currently got the perfect linemates to help him get there.
