Great road period for the Leafs. This game is a test for them. Their record is deceiving with how many extra-inning wins they have, so they wanted to know if they could compete with a team above them in the standings.

3rd line and 4th line working hard. top line creating. Kreider and Zibanejad just out for a skate making soft plays on the puck expecting the puck to be on a string for a big lolapalooza big monitor highlight reel goal. Jonny B skates to the middle of the ice to score a PP goal but Zibanejad won't even move his feet to accept a shot on the PP and just stands there and expects a perfect dish so he can feel like a man with his big one time shot 5 feet wide of the net.

Panarin line is pretty f***ing bad in the defensive zone, which I suppose shouldn’t be a surprise but I’m starting to wonder if they need to start shuffling wingers around.

The Leafs are one of the most over-exposed teams in all of sports. If you spoke English in Canada pre-expansion and lived outside of Montreal, they're the team you followed. That illness is generational.

I feel awful for the fan bases of VAN, OTT, CGY, WPG, and EDM as a result.

The minute they signed gustafsson, jones became redundant and should have been traded. Can’t have 3 smallish offensive defenseman that have the strength of a 12 year old and expect to compete. Add miller who despite his size is very passive.

This ranger team is incredibly soft. Its a culture issue at this point.

They simply dont care that much. Few guys do like vesey, troch and laff but mika and kreider would rather tap the opposition with an atta boy than dare push them
