LMFAO Vally and Hank saying that Laf needs to be held accountable and be scratched.

Where's the f***in criticism for the 11 million dollar invisible man? Or Stoner Zibanejad? Or lazy disinterested Kreider?

This is part of the problem. This bullshit culture surrounding this organization that no vet has to be held accountable at all, but young players still trying to get a hang of the whole thing need to be punished.

f*** off seriously. Open your eyes. This team is not winning a Cup. They're not making the playoffs. "These penalties are how games are lost" Where were these critiques on the broadcast when Strome was taking 9 penalties in the O zone per game. But he was Panarin's butt buddy so it was overlooked.

The entire organization is rotten.

You know how you lose games? You're "leaders" not showing up for weeks at a time.
No let’s blame the 21 year old. That fixes things

the formula is simple. Like the first period shift get the puck deep forecheck create turnovers and get puck to net. Unfortunately, that takes a lot of effort and energy.

If I'm Gallant I sit Kreider Zib and Panarin right now. Total accountability.

Laf-Trocheck-Kakko
Kravtsov-Goodrow-Gauthier
Vesey-Brodzinski-Blais

I'm sick of their uninterested, uninspired, weak, lazy performances. Send a message now.

Moving Laf up is accountability? 4 penalties in the last 8 games. 0 points in the last 5. That's accountability? That's moving a guy up based on his age and draft status.

It’s different. When play style is lazy it’s one thing. When you take an absurd penalty 3 times in the last 4 games and you get promoted- even the most loyal guys in that room won’t look kindly to that. Certainly hockey culture should never reward a lazy offensive zone penalty.
well, i don't disagree. but if accountability is what you're talking about -- i mean, that train left the station months ago.

I disagree I don’t thinK Lafreniere needs to learn accountability. He needs to take a deep breath and be allowed to make plays without fear of demotion. He lacks confidence, complete lack of confidence out there
He can't make a play because he's terrible. If he could make a play he would, but he hasn't since about game 3 of the season.

Also I enjoy Hanks insight. This team probably has tired itself out mentally from trying to figure out whats wrong.

Hanks right, simplify, just go do. Reach down there find your balls and grab them and go man up and play hockey instead of this weak, turnover prone, embarrassing last month of "hockey" you've played and whined about in post game pressers.

Talk is cheap

The 11 million dollar invisible man has two assists tonight, leads the team in points, and has more points than Laf, Kakko, and Chytil have combined.
I agree he's not an invisible man.........he's far far worse. The worst kind of poison you can have on a team. Yeah he can score points once in a while but he also floats a ton and is just a drag on the whole team.

You can’t have one set of rules for the young players and another for veterans. If you’re going to open that door then you need to sit Panarin when he turns it over at the blue line or Kreider when he peels off or Zibanejad when he takes the wrong man leaving a man open in the high slot.
There's a faction here, as I'm sure there is in the locker room, which is why this team looks like a dysfunctional wreck, because they are... that believes all the teams problems are because the kids are having trouble developing and progressing... They're not progressing because of the toxic environment they're in.

GUARANTEED the divide that's reported in the room is because Zibanejad and Kreider are putting their own hurt feelings above the team because they were passed over for captaincy. Panarin only gives a shit about Panarin (and his dog). Trouba and his allies are trying to keep this team together and the rest of them are just trying to be NHL players.

The cancers on this team are Zibanejad, Kreider, and Panarin. Guaranteed.
