Habs off to Buffalo for a quick one-game trip, following a brutal game against the Kings on Thursday that resulted in a 4-0 loss.

How many of you watched it and felt like taking it out on your TV monitor?

Marty had no answer for the Kings' 1-3-1 formation.

Turns out Marty doesn't need answers, cause it's a process that is part of a concept within a concept and also because, what he says, goes.

As this site's server migration from earlier this week, did not go as smoothly as anticipated, resulting in a landscape of broken links for several images that have been part of this forum for many years and which are regularly used in our GDTs.

The situation is not completely resolved but site admins are hard at work to try and find solutions. In the meantime, let's soldier on with whatever we can muster.


Didn't get the chance to underscore the Power Horse's first goal of the season in the last GDT. So here are belated props for his getting back in the saddle, even if it was only an empty netter.

In other news, Jake Allen is skipping a start for the second game in a row. Optimus Primeau has been tabbed to start this one.

Jacques Alain not starting may or may not mean something, as rumors swirl about how Hughes is looking to put an end to the 3-goalie set up.

Let's hope the team turns its fortunes around for this one.

First game away of that trip is on the 18th and the last one is on January 2nd. two back-to-back with travel among those 7 games too.

I just read online someone complaining that the Habs haven't won in regular time against teams higher than them in the rankings so far this season.

Only performing against similar caliber or lower teams and faceplanting against top teams is usually how it works when you are a bottom team...

I rotate through whichever ones I find. I’ll use only the free attempts and when that’s done, I’ll look for another. Dall-E is probably among the best but they all have high failure rates. I get way more bad, unusable monstrosities than decent results.

I always end up doctoring the final image myself. Every week, there’s a new source.

You could do better if you had unlimited or a high number of attempts from a paying service. But, I’m not earning enough in here, to justify it.

Thanks. The images in today's GDT looked like a mix of AI generated ones and photoshopped ones so I was just curious.

The very second Dach went down the goals of our season changed. For me the idea coming in was to find out how far we are from competing. With our center line in disarray we won't know that for at least another season. The best we can hope for now is Slaf continues to show beast mode capabilities while playing on a first line. If he is a catalyst in helping Suzuki and Caufield become productive again that is good enough for me.

With our center line in disarray we won't know that for at least another season. The best we can hope for now is Slaf continues to show beast mode capabilities while playing on a first line. If he is a catalyst in helping Suzuki and Caufield become productive again that is good enough for me.

We can’t have so little depth at a key position like center such that an injury to one guy unstabilizes your top lines.

Which is why some teams aim for extra quality centers (not easy but it’s doable) and slot them as wingers. You can always have a center play wing but rarely vice versa.
