How come Kopitar never gets a chance to play with a sniper? Just once Id like to see kopitar with Carter. But at least can we try toffoli with Kopi? I mean he is our best player/passer etc...

Brown/Kopitar/Williams scores at decent rate. No need to break up the line my guess.

It's a perfect line, Brown provides space/speed/grit, Kopitar is Kopi, Williams is a hard working fore checking machine.

All three of them can put the puck in the net.

Has anyone heard any info on when Mitchell or Greene will be back?

No, I think both are indeterminate at this point. Although I have heard that Mitchell's recovery is going very slowly, while apparently Greene is ahead of schedule. I don't know that any specific dates or even weeks have been put forth, though.

A shame, since we really need Greene back. Him and Mitchell were instrumental in the strength of our defense and PK last season. If we could combine last year's defense with this year's scoring we'd be unstoppable!

I'm hoping the Kings could at least get Greene back before the seasons out. The Kings need some serious help at D.

To reply seriously to you ... as was mentioned above, GREENE was reported to be AHEAD of schedule with his rehab' and should return BEFORE the end of the season ...
Willie Mitchell is likely lost THIS SEASON from all reports and 3rd party source rumblings, though nobody will confirm such a thing and you never know Mitchell could be back :dunno: ... though at best I'd hope for his return NEXT Season to finish out his contract with us before going UFA again.

I posted this in the LAST GDT, but in case you missed it ...

Last OFFICIAL word (was like 2 weeks ago or so ?) ...

Kings general manager Dean Lombardi said defenseman Willie Mitchell underwent platelet rich plasma therapy Tuesday for his surgically-repaired right knee, but there is no timetable for his return to the lineup. Mitchell has had a number of setbacks after undergoing surgery to repair torn meniscus in December.

Meanwhile, Lombardi also said defensemen Matt Greene (back surgery) and Alec Martinez (upper body injury) were on schedule to return from their injuries. Greene is actually ahead of schedule and might be back before the end of the regular season, with Martinez expected to be fit to play “shortly,” according to Lombardi.

interested in seeing Toffoli but I'm a bit bummed that Nolan is the odd man out.

I would have preferred to see King sit but I guess the goal he scored the other day showed that he is rounding into last years form.

So what's Toffoli's nickname? Toffi/Toffy?

:sarcasm:

Tofolli throws a check on his very first NHL shift. I approve Then he makes a play and then an assist and then asks for the ****ing puck with a raised stick at the top of the slot and takes a shot.

I already LOVE THIS KID.
