He just spent three minutes displaying his defensive prowess.
True but normally he's a net neutral player which means his line goes out there to do nothing but kill time. His ok ability is also decent. Point is, he does one thing alright and nothing else. Should definitely be traded either next year or the year after to a GM that's stupid enough to think he's actually a good 4C

Yea, Evans will lose his spot next year.
Pitlick is an AHLer
The plan to pump up the value of players like Hoffman, Dadanov, Drouin was sound but nobody could have predicted that they would suck so bad.
We won't get anything for them but at this point just get rid of them and let players like Yelnon play.
Evans is the only AHL graduate to make this team in the Bergevin era...from 2012 he is the only player that made it to the Habs roster. Am I wrong?
Lehkonen developed in Finland, Romanov jumped straight from the KHL.

It’s the jersey.

At least 3-4 times this year I was going to post about the worst period of hockey I’d seen only for the habs to score a few quick ones.

Chara claiming the Canucks were pretending to skate around with the cup.

This is the same club whose coach tried his best to stain the canadiens and their "embellishment" to all time levels.

The same club who had a player that denied sticking his middle finger to the crowd after scoring on montreal even when he was caught on camera.

The same team that had a player who got his MD overnight and questioned pacioretty's concussion

People say Chara didn't mean to hurt patches because we should take him at his word? Well, he's cheapening the value of his words. I don't think he meant to break his neck, but let's remember that the Habs were absolutely curb stomping the Bruins in that game up 4-0. Chara was embarrassed and wasn't prepared to see another breakaway go against him at all costs.

There's pictures of Chara's hand right at Patches' head, so he clearly did.

I like Jake but he's in the wrong seat. That line is often outmatched physically and net neutral or not it does play into subsequent shifts. Jake needs to win a third line role with a couple of decent solid wingers which we are woefully short of.

when my dad took me to my first habs game and I saw the rocket the habs wore the reds.
when I saw the red army game the habs wore the reds at home.
when I took my daughter to the habs game the habs wore the reds.
when I bought her a habs jersey its the reds.
with my first wife the habs wore the reds
with my second wife the habs wore the reds.
so thats 63 years since my first habs game ALL REDS
now with just a few years left NOW NO REDS????????
WTF.

I like Pezzetta but he belongs in Laval along, hell that entire 4th line belongs in Laval.

I saw a replay of Patch giving Chara the gears in a game prior to the hit in question. I remember the play well because I thought it was pretty stupid of Max to rub salt into the wound after scoring a game winner.
