The Bruins and Capitals are meeting for the 152nd time in their histories with the Bruins having a 76-45-21-9 record and 494-416 scoring advantage in those games.

The Bruins are 34-24-12-5 in their 75 road games of this lifetime series with a 238-217 scoring edge in those contests.

The Bruins are winless in their last 6 games vs. the Capitals at 0-5-1 with their last win vs. Washington a 4-2 road victory on Mar. 29,2014, and they are 2-7-4 in their last 13 games vs. Washington overall … They have lost their last 3 in Washington and are 4-5-3 in their last 12 road games of this lifetime series.

Hopefully not a typical Bruins Caps game as has been the case the last few years.

The Caps are having trouble scoring? What happened to their power play? Hopefully the B's can beat Holtby and tonight!

GO BRUINS!! :handclap:

Damn you Holtby, damn you to he-double hockey sticks.

Bruins are 2-6-2 vs the Caps in the last 10 against them.
Caps are 8-2 vs the Bruins in the last 10 against them.

Not feeling great about this game, but hey a win against these bums and the Habs would be amazing, and if anyone deserves it we do for the long time suffering against both of these teams recently.

I'll be happy if we score a goal against this pain in my ass.

Scored a couple free tix to the game tonight, so I'll be there cheering!

Hopefully this isn't as painful as the last few Bs/Caps games I've been to. Ugh.

Just win, don't care how. I'd love nothing more then for the B's to put up a 4 spot on Holtby. I'm going with a 4-2 B's win also, breaking the streak.

NBCSN...does this mean I have to listen to that donkey Olczyk?

Yes you do

Pre-game coverage for Wednesday Night Rivalry on NBCSN begins at 7 p.m. ET with NHL Live. Liam McHugh anchors Wednesday Night Rivalry studio coverage with analysts Mike Milbury and Keith Jones, as well as NHL insider Bob McKenzie. Post-game coverage on NHL Overtime will air on NBCSN immediately following Bruins-Capitals.
