Monsters win 7-4.

Shots: Laval 29, Cleveland 28.

Whoever bailed on this atrocity early is a champ.

Sure but is he better offensively than Kovy?

Barron’s challenges are on D, especially when he’s physically challenged. He’s better at offense then Kovacevic but he’s at most a top4 D imo (but one that fits exactly with the new team identity and RD on top of it).

Well, at least the Jets thought so.
Or they had too many, i dont know the story but if this player is in your lineup with 3 rookies, no way it works. Barron is the type you dangle to improve elsewhere especially if you think the 3 young dmen are keepers. I think so. Plus next wave in 2-3 yrs.

Get a goalie.

Well, at least the Jets thought so.

I believe it was more of a numbers game (Winnipeg was pretty full on D before injuries hit) than actually not liking Kovacevic. They wouldn't have signed a 25 years old to a 3-year 1-way deal if they didn't think he was NHL quality.

Morrissey - DeMelo
Dillon - Pionk
Stanley - Schmidt
Samberg

Not much space there.

WPG fans were also a bit disappointed in losing him and many saw him as a potential depth (#5-7d).

Damn I forgot Laval was playing again today.

- Beaudin with 3 pts (1G, 2A): 4-game point streak. with 7 pts in 4 GP.
- Teasdale with 2 goals: he has 4 pts in the last 3 GP.
- Barron with an assist
- Ylonen with an assist

Belleville with a loser point as they lost in OT to Manitoba.

So Laval, Belleville & Utica are all tied with 24 pts. However, Sens have 2 games in hand and Comets have 5 games in hand. So Laval remains in last place.

Cleveland hold the 4th spot and last playoff spot of the Division at 27 pts. So the Rocket are at this moment still in playoff contention.

+7 on this brutally defensive team is impressive.
16 points in 66 games last year. 10 in 13 with Laval. Nice
Maybe he could become an option as a PMD with the Habs next season ???? Barron too. I am expecting Edmundson and Wideman will be gone, and possibly Savard.

Teasdale waking up from 15-1-3-4 to 16-3-3-6.

Still a struggle to justify a NHL contract.

he can't get enough TOI, with the way he played last year I would have brought him back for sure, even though he's slow and the skating needs work but he can pot some goals as he also looked good the year before on Poehling's line.

But at that point, he's worth an AHL contract at best. We are better off focusing on some junior guys that do not have repetitive knee problems. Shame as Teasdale had decent upside.
