I seem to recall hearing it was Zinger who pushed for Stan?

If so, this all makes sense. It's some kind of inside joke with Chevy telling coaches they have to play Stanley so that he can give Zinger shit incessantly and get a little laugh each time

He probably texted him after last game "hey Zinger, man your boy looked GOOD out there today!". I can just picture the goofy grin on chevy's face as he hits "send"
Or the fact that garrett clearly outlined why not to draft him and that both girard and debrincat would be better picks - and the winnipeg scouts were like fk that guy... who is he

I'd like to believe that Miller is banged up, but I've lost faith in 3rd pair Dman decision making around here
You know things are in danger of going off the rails if you and me are starting to agree...

Some takeaways from the Arniel presser (a couple freudian slips):

There are a number of "Bumps and bruises" on the team. Scheifele being the most obvious. Arniel basically admitted that hes pretty banged up which all of us could clearly tell, but in terms of taking time off, scott basically alluded to the fact that most of the players want to play, so nothing we can do about that.
As for the D situation, I think Miller could be banged up a bit too, which would explain what we've been seeing. Maybe he's decided to sit out a few games on his own accord.

The thing that blows my mind is moving Names to 1C - while niedereitter has been solid when playing C and could easily fill the crash the net requirement for that kfc-scheif pairing

Hope this works - im still optimistic for the game tonight but ill have extra beers on hand

They're not gonna f*** with Lowrys line

I predict they'll play big minutes tonight, especially if they get up a goal or two

Except lowry has consistenly shown that his line should be the one fkd with... plus barron or kupari in there and he will still lead a shutdown line

I think this is more of a test for Heinola and if he can carry Stanley across the finish line he will be in the lineup regularly.
Jets record with Stanley in the lineup for this year is 10-3.

I hope the Jets are ready to play when the puck drops ... St.Louis has only played 1 game in the last 5 days so you know they will be ready.

Looks like I might get to the game. First game I won't be able to wear one my Jets Jersey's (can't make it home before the game).

Looking forward to watching Lambert and Heinola in person.

Always like live hockey, hopefully the team can find a way tonight.

Sounds like bad luck not wearing a Jets jersey to the game...better hit Jets Gear on your way in. At least get one of these Lowry medallions:

Edit: it turns out this is just a bracelet. I was thinking it was a pie-plate sized medallion with 1" gold link chain.

Never? He played all 82 games last year, one of only 5 Jets to do so, and he will hopefully only miss a few games with his ankle sprain.
The first time he has played 82 games since 17-18.
Once he gets back, I'd play him a lot and sell high.
He should've been traded 4 weeks ago.
He'd bring back a great return.

He did so with a herniated disc in his neck for thr first chunk of the season at least, though... so while he did play 82, he wasn't exactly healthy

That said, almost everyone plays through some nagging shit at some point during each season

Just because i don't post does not mean I'm "New Here" . I find this site does give some good info on the Jets, but it is also like Twitter or X. very negative.
Don't be offended. Keyboard warriors tend to have poor bedside manner. Welcome to the world of posting. I like to say I am a realist but called negative because I see the good and bad with the Jets. I see more bad tonight with the third pairing , taking out Miller, first home game after a long trip but the good is Lambert gets to see some action. I am hoping my gut is wrong and the Jets do not come out flat after putting in solid efforts the last 2 games without any reward
