Line rushes according to Ken Wiebe at this mornings skate. Who is the 3rd pairing is up for debate though
Oh man this is exciting. That top line needed a boost and that second line looks gooooood.

I really hope they don't make Stanley play his offside, he can't even play his onside

EDIT: I see it's Heinola playing his offside. I don't like that either - like it's the kids 3rd game in over a year, give him a legit shot. Plus being anchored with Stanley?

I am going to go out on a limb and say Coghlin/Miller start.

Very interesting. Looking forward to seeing how Lambert does with Cole and Gabe. Wonder if this means Ehlers is out longer term. Wouldn't they need to put him on IR for Lambert to be back up?

No clue what they will do for the third pairing.

Thanks for the advice and sympathy I got last night, both public and private. I'm a bit embarrassed by what I shared but the reactions were sweet and very sensible. I've saved them and will read them again a few times when I'm down in the dumps.

"the dumps" = when you're discussing "Great Expectations" and one student is disappointed to learn that Pip is not a hobbit.

I've noticed a few times that the Jets place someone on the injury list, then a few days later they announce that the list assignment is retroactive to a certain date. I assume there's some sort of advantage to this? If you go out with an injury, do you have to stay out for a set number of days or games? I'd always thought that when you sat out with an injury you stayed out until it healed, but perhaps there's more complicated rules involved here.

A brief explanation using Ehlers as an example would be great.

Tough break for Gus.

I have had my suspicions about how "day to day" Nik is ever since it was announced. We will see.

Personally I think:

Names - Vilardi - Scheiefe
Connor - Lambert - Perfetti

would be a better combination as Connor could drive that 2nd line. Not sure who the driver on that new 2nd line is right now.

Stanley still in the lineup with Miller holding the drop? Or both Stan/Heinola out with Coghlan-Miller as the 3rd pair?

You have to be on IR for at least 7 days, so this just starts that 7 day IR clock on the date of his injury, instead of today.
