we did nothing with the puck. Banging it around the boards for a minute and getting nothing out of it, thats our "system"

The Rangers remind me of a corporate work environment that has gone stale and lost its mojo.

The "vets" feel too comfortable. They get paid more than everybody, get better opportunities than everyone else and probably are not quite as good as they used to be but no one is ready to accept that last point yet.

As a consequence, the up and coming "youth" feel disillusioned and unmotivated. There's no reason to try hard and perform better because until one of the "vets" retires there's no real room for upward mobility anyway.

It's still close enough to correct course. This team has been dogshit all season minus the first few games of the season. We are trending down. We just had a 'players only meeting' and the coach rip into them.... Nothing changed.

You either wait too long and lose the season or you preemptively make a move in an attempt to save the season.

I watched the last 5. They had the puck but were forcing passes. not getting to the net. passing up open shot lanes. Its disgusting. Kakko has the puck along the half-wall no one is around him and he shoots a very soft shot from very far out. All he had to do was keep his feet moving and go towards the f-ing net. We are ruining these kids by allowing them to develop really terrible habits with the puck. Go to the net kid! Go to the f'ing net! And when someone tries to stop you, THEN move it to the open guy. For f'sake. And I'm not just picking on Kakko, it's the whole stupid stupid team.

We had Quinn with these players. roster needs a shakeup. Need some spark. Need emotion on this team. Too many passionless players. The leaders should have some passion right. Pretty pathetic here,

That wont chance the way this organization is run. Scouting and development needs to change amongst other things

Scouting was overhauled when Drury came in. They nailed it at last years deadline and the drafts seem to be better as well. Player development isnt just jed and tanner, it's a philosophical thing for the org that hasnt worked.
