Tuesday marked the return of Brent Burns, who missed seven games with a leg injury after sitting out the first 10 games of the season following offseason sports hernia surgery. Burns, usually a defenseman, was used as a wing, scored a goal, and wound up playing some on the top line alongside Thornton and Patrick Marleau.

Last OFFICIAL word I recall (was like 2 weeks ago or so ?) ...

Kings general manager Dean Lombardi said defenseman Willie Mitchell underwent platelet rich plasma therapy Tuesday for his surgically-repaired right knee, but there is no timetable for his return to the lineup. Mitchell has had a number of setbacks after undergoing surgery to repair torn meniscus in December.

Meanwhile, Lombardi also said defensemen Matt Greene (back surgery) and Alec Martinez (upper body injury) were on schedule to return from their injuries. Greene is actually ahead of schedule and might be back before the end of the regular season, with Martinez expected to be fit to play “shortly,” according to Lombardi.

I think you're right ... but who sits ?

I can't see any of the TOP guys sitting really ? maybe REST Mike Richards ? move Carter to pivot and bump Lewis or Cliffy up ? or get Toffoli a taste on that line ?

More likely a bottom guy sits, so who ... Lewis ? King ? Nolan ? Clifford ? Fraser ?
