he got injured in OT vs VAN...he took pregame skate yesterday and went directly into lockerroom and was ruled out pretty quickly

First time in weeks I'm this excited for a game... THe Wings will be hard to beat today but one thing I have learned over the years, if a goalie is in that rare zone of confidence and excellence few teams can win...

We will see, Detroit is not the team of the past and the Jackets are playing excellent defensive team hockey and confident... By all rights it should be a close game.

Should be close game again, Jackets have Detroit's number. Richards has managed to put up good system against Detroit, they don't get to good scoring areas. Srsly against Det this team has looked like contender.

Andersson should be the 3rd line C, not Tatar. And 2nd line C is Zetterberg. If it matters .

Wings are gonna have a whole lot of pent up anger to vent today, but if the Jackets keep their cool and play their game then it should be close whichever way it turns out. They let Detroit dictate play then forget about it.

I expect the Jackets to continue to outplay the Wings, although we'll probably have more rough shifts in our end than we did last game because of matchup issues. Babcock will try and sneak his skilled guys out there against units like the Drazenovic line.

Playoffs are of course very tempting thought, but I still rather have a high draft pick and draft Jones/McKinnon than go to the playoffs. We've been good lately, but this team doesn't have the skills to go very far. Most likely it just 4-0 loss in the first round and we'd be lucky to have even a one victory in the series.

In long run, it is better to suck this season and get a Top-3 pick in the draft.

Still, I hope we beat the Red Wings today - I can't stand them
