Show me the head of NHL scheduling, and I'll show you a man I want to strangle.

The absurd scheduling early on was bad enough, and of course they'll have to pay for this in January February and March with a game every other night or back to back games..

My more proximate beef is that I detest matinees. Spare me until January.

No ESPN+ again, aaarrrggghhhh

Stop me before I go on my rant about the ridiculousness of needing 14 subscriptions and 3 cable packages just to watch one team all season

:madfire::banghead::soap:

The Bruins LOVE to schedule these matinee games because they are popular with fans in NH and Maine who pack the train.

On why the NHL can't figure out a way to make games the NHL Network picks up available on ESPN+ I don't have an answer. They ARE available on NHL Center Ice in the US

Fully expect the Bruins to respond well in this one. Arizona are a plucky team who can be quite good on their day - after all, before their loss to the Flyers they had beaten the last 4 Cup champs one after the other across 4 consecutive games to set a pretty unique little NHL record. So no taking them lightly.

Poitras back in and the forward lines instantly look more proper and have a more natural feel about them. These are combos I like, even if Marchand-Zacha-Pasta in particular has rather underperformed to date and needs to offer more. Hopefully they all gel well here.

If McAvoy is ready to go then great, but don't rush him. The defense does look really sketchy and small with both he and Forbort missing though. Nothing for it but for the blueliners to knuckle down, keep things simple and wherever possible make smart plays rather than high risk/reward ones.

Tipping 4-2 to the good guys.

Thank God Mac's upper-body injury is not the "C" word.

Will LowRider be up for multiple games with Fortbort out? I want to see that kid get more experience!

Still does. I have it on DIRECTV as I am out of market. Center Ice has become more like “corner face off circle.” Its value has been diluted by the NHL attempting to generate even more revenue by selling games to different streaming services. They aren’t on Center Ice. if somebody had a service that would sell me all 82 Bruins games without lag and have the Bruins feed, I could drop Center Ice like a hot potato.

I hope it's not the shoulder he had surgery on this past offseason.

Be thankful in Canada we’re stuck with SportsNet package and its absolutely brutal.. lags, loading circle the announcers calling the play by play a head of the video feed oh and your always behind the live feed that’s why I don’t come on here during games cause I get spoilers it’s an absolute crap shoot service

Unfortunately I dropped Bell like 3 or 4 years ago cause of the slower internet service but yeah I didn’t know they still supplied it makes me wonder why I’m forced into the SportsNet package if Centre ice still exists in Canada

This is the biggest game of the year. I’m not one to blow things out of proportion………but………..:

If we win we are assured the Cup. 16 straight playoff wins all by scores of 10-0.

If lose, fire & trade everyone and blame all your life’s troubles on the Bruins. The board will disband and never to be spoke of again.

Anywho……thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Whoa!!!

5-2 Bruins, Brad and Pasta with 2 each……..Coyle gets one also………followed by victory beers all around!!!

Interesting tidbits in Sportsnet's "Quick Shifts" article by Luke Fox (link below). Points 2-4 are about Bruins.

2. Pasta being more vocal, taking on more leadership
3. Frederic - who knew he was a goalie with Toronto's Woll as his back up
4.- Shattenkirk - being scratched with Monty wanting more "aggressiveness"/ offense from him

This.

Everybody send loads of love and support to @NeelyDan who must say goodbye to his beloved Chibby this morning. Many here understand how very sad and difficult this is.
