And yes, he does suck. The "full stop" explains how you see the play, though. Full stop means that 29 can continue to make lazy plays at the offensive blueline.

If a mistake 150 feet away absolves a goaltender from doing his job, then there is nothing to talk about. It's not like he made that drop pass in the slot.

I get that every goal is always a trail of errors, but it's not like Barbashev beat him top shelf, the kid let in an absolute stinker and he does it all the time. You give good players lots of rope, not guys who aren't performing.
