Agreed. He crosschecked him in the back which wouldn't have been called but the he reached down to crosscheck him in the head (which looked deliberate).

It started at the upper arm and slid up. It was not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It wasn't a direct cross check to the head, which is probably why he wasn't fined or suspended.

So Gally is out for a few weeks? Sad to say, but he won't be missed. This is going to be a late date, and might finish early. Canuks allow lots of goals, our young guns might be in for a treat.

Sadly Harris Xhekaj pairing combined doesn't work.
Neither are proficient on the right side.

All the LDs are lacking on the right side.

Eddy should be traded and Barron should be called up. The backend would actually be more productive offensively and about the same defensively...

Or HuGo could trad for that vet RD (sending a LD back or elsewhere). We haven't heard about them still looking for one recently actually.

I know Eddy has been struggling recently, but Baron was a disaster turnover machine in the preseason against juniors and AHL'ers. Have not seen Laval play this year, but unless he greatly improved since October, I don't see him being able to play against NHL guys this season.

That proves Seinfeld’s take about how awards are just a big jag of stupidity.

In a 2007 award speech, he mentioned how every real estate office has some framed 5-diamond President Award by the desk, every hotel check-in has some Gold Circle special service thing and every car salesman is a Platinum Jubilee winner.

Looking like the Canucks borrowed their award from a hotel chain and the guy they chose to honor was mostly a shit disturber who started a lot of skirmishes but always ducked and fled when things got serious. That somehow qualifies him to act like an NHL PP coach.

They were in Calgary on Wednesday and were in Vancouver yesterday so their body clocks are now used to be on the Mountain/Pacific time zone
