Probably would have if Dach didn’t get injured after 1 game. Slaf had to play with Anderson and Newhook who didn’t fit him well, he is getting better since he played with different players.
Ya but that has nothing to do with playing tough on the boards and using size and strength.

As a Chiefs fan, I beg to differ. Still fuming over yesterday's missed PI. It might have decided home field.
classic example of refs managing the game. They f***ed up the call on the unnecessary roughness on Mahomes, and then ignored that ridiculous pass interference penalty

Anderson was always a north south off the rush player. Even at his best.

Slaf looks like sort of the opposite. He'll grind you down low and be a cycle menace in front of the net and on the boards.
I always enjoyed his ability to cycle the puck and use his size to get the puck off the boards, but yeah I mostly agree.

One thing I've been noticing with Monty is that he stays in his net when our dman holds the puck behind the net which causes the other team's forechecker to just be in the paint.
