I'm sick of the Coyotes' broadcast crew talking about the "house" area CONSTANTLY this game.

Most people call it the slot, guys. You can stop trying to create your own hockey terms.

Sutter isn't Lidstrom. He will make mistakes, he didn't make the best choices for ONE game. It happens.
 
better hope mitchell is healthy next years cause the free agent pool is awful

I wouldn't know. I am recording the game to go watch it after class but I read it here that someone mentioned it during the broadcast so I'm guessing some of our players are banged up.

Plus not everyone is playing to their capability. So I would assume some of our players are hurt.

The legs just aren't there. The whole team is reaching with their sticks.

If the Kings had the 6-2 game against Calgary last night, they may have had a little more energy left in the tank. Calgary showed up, and were hitting every guy on the Kings last night, and it was a close game until the end.

Back to back for the Kings, 2 days off the for Coyotes. You show up, do what you can, but that's an almost impossible situation. Just physical reality.
 
Glad we got one goal at least.
I don't see a big 3rd period comeback this time around. Although maybe I'm happy about that... I'm going to the Kings - Yotes game on the 18th. If they lose tonight maybe there's less of a chance they'll "regress to the mean" on the night I'm there, haha.
 
I've said it before, but I am sick of Scuderi's no-contact fly-swatting technique. Boedker just skates into the slot and rather than lay him out, Scuderi swats pathetically at the puck and gives Boedker an easy shot for a goal. Unacceptable.

Yup.

Not worried about it. The Yotes are well coached (love it when Tippet leaves the West). Also the Yotes always get up to play the Kings.

I heard they are being retired after this season and the throwbacks are becoming their third jersey.

Just a rumor, but I agree...time for the scrap heap for these thirds.

Kings: "Okay, no problem, but we are going to wear these ****** thirds."

Coyotes: *sigh*
