I'd put him on the top line to start, don't want to rush him but there's literally no other place in the lineup that won't have him next to 2 black holes

I would put Newhook in the middle of the 2nd line. Slaf-Newhook-Gallagher, with Laine taking Newhook's spot next to Suzuki.
