Don't look now, but a Tampa Bay win and a CBJ win tomorrow night puts Columbus in FIRST PLACE in the Metro.

And multiple games-in-hand over both PIT and NYR! Even better is they are starting to put distance between themselves and the playoff bar...five points up right now with games-in-hand on everyone outside the playoffs (except Toronto).

Korpisalo..... :) (just kidding, he's getting work in the minors to stay fresh but will be the backup next season)

It will be Cmac...

Bob got worked over pretty well tonite. Cmac would be the smart play. My guess is Bob wants and will get the net.

God it's crazy looking at both Cam and Matty. I'm just thinking back to when they were rooks and now they're all grown up lol!

Face-off percentages were horrible tonight. Dubi was 6w/17L. Everyone else (except Jenner on a small sample) was under 50%. This was one reason for the ice tilting the other way tonight.

FFS, only got to see the 1st period of this game (had to take daughter's to the mall), but very happy to see they got the win.
Sounds like Bob stole this one for the CBJ.
Happy to read Sedlak got his 1st
goal.

So, when captain Foligno is not in the line up, who hugs Bobrovsky after the win?

I'm thinking the three days off didn't help. Tomorrow should be better. Bob or Cmac?

2 points ... Move on

this is what I'm thinking, too. I was worried about this game for just that reason. And the captain was out. Still won 4-1.

I couldn't start watching until there were like 8 minutes left, though I've watched the highlights now. Dubi's goal was weird. Bob seems so solid and confident again. That play at the end where he got run 2x, terrible, especially the 2nd guy, not sure who it was, but he deserved some retaliation for that.

Congrats, Sedlak, great win Jackets!

Makes me shudder just thinking about it. I got drunk one night and I never, never, NEVER drink whiskey and my friends know this, but at 2am I was downing fireball like it was water. The next morning was awful.

Perhaps but no need, the CBJ don't need him to win tomorrow, and he needs some rest.....

Bobs not young, back to back and one injury could impact the season...

Let him rest...

If Bob plays tomorrow it will be his 3rd game in 10 days. I think he can handle that.

just the morning? you got off easy

that's what you get for drinking fireball. I only dabble anymore, but not with that lol.

anyway, enjoy your nhl.tv or whatever you signed up for. I was worried you were gonna be a jinx but I judging by tonight, you need to be a part of these GDTs from now on!

I'll drink a Budweiser in honor of Sedlak's goal.

Budweiser means "from Budweis", which is the German name for Sedlak's home city of Budejovice.

Nice thought! But if I'm going to drink a domestic, mass-produced beer, you know my brand isn't Budweiser.
