However you feel about Malkin, if anyone is “butthurt” it’s a fan being mad about his reaction there. He got poked in the butt by a guy on the bench and smacked someone’s stick with his. “Going after him” ie getting more penalties against is a true Neanderthal thought process.

Game is pretty entertaining but I feel like playing the Pens is a ripe matchup to build bad habits. Their D is nearly inexistent so you can play loose and still score. Not going to go well playing this style against most other teams.

Carter is one of the worst analysts in hockey media. Overreactionary and too arrogant to back down when he's wrong.

Dude showed his whole ass a couple years back when he decided it would be a good idea to pick a fight with Michael Russo, Minnesota beat writer and acknowledged among everyone as one of, if not the best in the business.

That's silly, what Zadarov did was very wrong, stupid, and he deserved to be penalized. but it was no more than a tap, no risk of injuring anyone.

What Malkin did was intent to injure level stuff. If he caught someone there could have been a significant.

The windup was pretty deceiving. He didn’t try to smack a guy in the head and didn’t even hit whoever he hit in the blade very hard.

Not trying to be a contrarian, just what I saw.

Both what Zad and Malkin did deserve 2 mins. If either team gets sidetracked by any of that, that’s going to be the team that loses.
