Bruins are going to need a 3LW after Frederic is traded. Preferably one that makes less than Frederic. Beauvilier skates well, he's a good passer. I think Coyle does well with those types.

If that happens, you’re describing a miss the playoffs scenario. If that’s the case play Max Jones or one of the kids there. No need to give up assets for a pending UFA who has been disappointing.

I don't think it's a miss the playoffs scenario. When you're on the bubble you can be both buyer and seller. Sell off Frederic who, despite underperforming, should still have good value, and replace him with someone who should cost next to nothing but could be a fit as a complimentary depth piece.
