If I’m not mistaken, the stats you see on this don’t use points percentage though.

Last few weeks he didn't know whether to put his jock on or send it out to get it washed.

Well, no. I know nothing about USA Hockey rules, I just wasn't considering the race aspect at all - bit of an unusual situation.
The race now is to the dots. Used to race the whole way, but too many injuries. I remember Pat Peake with the Washington Capitals shattered his ankle in multiple places racing to the end boards to touch the puck first. IIRC, he never played again.
