Anderson erroneously used his free hand to push the elbow out of the way. But the penalty should have been on the detroit player.

I agree, if they're hell bent on the development of Slaf in the NHL, why not put him with the best chances to succeed, it's not like his play hasn't warranted it. Add in all the injuries it seems like a no brainer to me.
