Maybe, but is that because he is paired with Jansen or because he is over a significant injury that hampered his play last year? I know Chabot has been better this year, but why is the question. You don't right-off the other lead defenseman Sanderson by saddling him with a boat anchor. How do you get the most out of both of those key players?

You just know the family is going to be demanding it, given the history of Keith and Matthew being the indications. Not that I'd ever want to be a shit about it ;-), but I suggest somewhere on the the extreme west coast before July 1st. Once he has a limited or NMC say, that will be used against Ottawa. I suggest Anaheim / San José / Utah / Seattle, about as geographically far as possible from Matthew in FLA. Vancouver would be ideal - extreme far west and also still 'stuck' in Canada.

Wrt Amadio, he's produced goal scoring at a quality rate the last 3 years in Vegas, much higher than many other guys. The run he produced at an even higher clip than that. He shouldn't be this bad. Maybe that wasn't really him but it happened. He's now cratering in Ottawa like the majority seem to.

Well that’s where scouting comes into play. Were they looking at the stats only? How much tape of amadio did they watch.

I highly doubt he was a ohsycial monster in Vegas or had hands in Vegas.
