Nah... I consider GIO our #1 dman 'what a fantastic pickup by Dumbas!' Rielly... either play D or move to forward bro... he sucks on D these days.

The thing about Gio is even though he’s older, he clearly has that Norris winner field general pedigree. Exudes control and calm under pressure and makes little area plays and pressure outlets at his own pace. Those aren’t really things Rielly does well. He’s more of a tunnel vision, attack with speed when he’s on. But he doesn’t have that control game.

Tavares off the crossbar could have shut this one down. He does the little things so well.

Nah bro..... all I want is Benn back...... this team is SO MUCH BETTER without Rielly and Brodie! I hate to say it... I like Rielly, but he is not having a good season!

When we made Rielly's pairing the matchup pairing - it was BAD. Got caved every game.

Then we went with a Brodie-Holl pairing and it actually worked quite well. Now we're doing a Gio-Holl pairing and it's working quite well too.

It is completely sub-optimal to play Rielly against any sort of top competition. Just put him in a role where he can generate the most offense when he comes back.

Really happy to see him return to form. Losing his Dad really devastated him & affected his ability to prepare & focus (understandably).

Murray gained a lot of respect from me & many in Canucks nation a few years ago when he offered condolences and support to Markstrom after Jacob’s Dad passed away.

Always cheer for these good guys to come back & really hoping he can maintain his health to give your team a playoff run.

I completely agree! not only that, Holl has been playing 'AMAZING!??????' the last half dozen games.. I am a believer of 'if its working great, keep things as they are' wow... I am just totally amazed and proud of our Leafs right now.... here we all thought the ship was gonna sink with such important players out... but wow... the complete opposite! I am all for trading Rielly before the deadline.. He will still fetch a nice return.. as much as i love the guy... we clearly, don't need him, or Muzz, or Brodie.
