I wouldn't call up Rempe just for the reason of giving Kurtis MacDermid something to do. Yeah we don't have anyone nearly as tough as he is but he's a 5 minute a night player who is slow as molasses. People shit on Rempe's skating sometimes but Matthew can move and his skating has been improving from year to year since we drafted him. MacDermid is what he is---a subpar player and skater surviving pretty much as a goon only. Some of our beat writers should know better. Larry Brooks taking lessons from Stan Fischler? Time to move on from junior high to high school Larry.

I think because the idea is that Panarin is gonna be out there the most, and so if Chytil is our current best center at even strength, they'd like to have him out there for more minutes a game.
