They called up Rempe for a game against the Blues which made no sense but they’re not gonna do it against the Devils? Makes no sense. All kidding aside, a feisty rivalry game might be what this team needs to wake the f*** up.

Rempe against the Devils means we're automatically down a player because he can never finish a game against them without doing something stupid and being ejected

So the title of this thread says the game is going to be on ESPN+, but ESPN says it's on NHL Network. Why does the NHL still have games on NHL Network? Most people don't even have cable anymore let alone NHL Network. And the Rangers have 5 games on that terrible channel this month alone.

No argument here. But all are problems.
i'm of the opinion that on a hockey team, everything effects everything else. Delicate ecosystem.

Don't try to fix every problem at one time - you can't.

Fix the main problem and see what happens, sometimes a rising tide lifts boats.

Get rid of Lindgren and get a real LHD in there - at worst a break even. Solve that problem.

Here
My prediction is 3-1 Devils by the end of the first.

Theyll be running around with their heads cut off chasing pucks and Hugheses all over the ice.

Hope im wrong. Prove me wrong

At least the ass-whipping wont be at the Rock

I'm going by what the Yahoo app said. it said it was on ESPN+. but I will change it.

Article in the Athletic today showing that NHL coaches have a far shorter lifespan than the other top US sports leagues. Around 2.5 years. So it seems no one can run hockey teams. You just keep shuffling coaches, they win, they stay a year, they lose, they're fired. Round and round they go. So does it even matter? Can you really implement an organization wide system, or develop players or anything in that time?

Hard salary cap screws over the coaches because the GMs can’t make trades

if they don't play better D they're gonna get f***in' rolled no matter who's in goal.

big reason why I dont' want to pay igor 12+ mill or something...best goalie in the world can't save you from playing shit D and behind all game long. it's not worth the expense. Woudl rather have a moderately priced goalie who's pretty good and better player supporting him. plus igor hasn't been big money play this year
