Great bounce back game and even though the losses to Edmonton and Vancouver were bad, 6 out of 10 points on the road trip isn't bad at all.

I find it funny, everytime I try to leave work asap, Columbus lose most of the time. But when I don't, they end up winning most of the time.

Also, sucks for me, I forgot to start Bob in my pool.:shakehead

I never would have thunk it. This is a hard team to figure out as far as running hot and cold. Injuries and illness have taken a toll, but it seems they play better when the odds are stacked against them.

As punk_o_holik pointed out, 6 of 10 is very good for a lengthy roadie, its just how we lost the other 4 points that has us sour.

Good roadie keep it going.

Fantastic. I was asked to leave work early tonight. I am glad I did. I haven't been this proud of my team since last year. Need to continue to play hungry and aggressive.

Those Edmonton and Vancouver loses were ****ing terrible, but after tonight, I think we can call the roadtrip a mild success.

Leafs fan dropping in to say my butt hurts

I had a bad feeling we'd underestimate you guys tonight with all the injuries to key players. Good game, hopefully it'll help build some team confidence for you leading up to the returns of Gaborik/Horton/etc. (Anisimov too? Hopefully not but it looked like it could've been a dislocated shoulder). I'm not a huge fan of most of the other teams in the Metro but I think you guys are on the right track (Jenner was a favourite prospect of mine in particular) and could still surprise some people this year so good luck the rest of the way

Six of ten points on a long road trip. The two losses were awful, but the overall result could have been much worse. Great to finish it off with a big win. First and last game of the trip may have been their two best of the season.

Saw Anisimov in the hall, looks to be feeling okay.

#CBJ coach Todd Richards said he spoke with Anisimov just after game ended. "Looks like he's going to be OK," but no official diagnosis.

Been told that NHL feels Phaneuf hit is Clean and he won't be suspended.

Foligno is setting him up just fine. Horton would look good on the right side, eh?

With all due respect to Foligno, Joey should be flanked by Dubi and Horton when the team is back healthy.

Foligno makes 1 hell of a 3rd liner, and can play on any line on this team. But if you are going to groom Joey as the #1 guy you gotta make sure you play him with the best talent.

Can't disagree. It was a questionable call - I think the injury leads the refs to that one.

My two complaints about this game:

1. If Mark Fraser can instigate a fight with a visor, why wasn't he kicked out of the game? I guess calling it a cross check saves them from that rule.

2. If Dion Phaneuf is ruled to have thrown a hit to the head (that caused obvious injury), why wasn't he kicked out? Again, I think the right call is being made by the NHL here; that's a legal hit. But, in both instances, I think the officiating can be described as "lacking".

Congrats to the Jackets - a great win, now they have to take this momentum and run with it!

Great game by the jackets tonight. Looked a lot like last year's team defensively.

The only question I have is:

Can Edmonton beat Toronto 13-0?
