I will say...games like this Claude should encourage them to step out of the system and open up the ice. I'm not sure where you're going to find the so called "spark" from ultra systematic play.
I mean...try a criss-cross between the forwards entering the offensive zone at least. Just something. Doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again is just not cutting it.
That part of Julien in which he has acknowledged (not through direct admittance of fault, but in more subtle ways) but still cannot truly address.
This isn't about picking sides. I KNOW the Bruins do not have the highest level of talent in the league. The point is players change, and they go back to the same system. You can absolutely coach some alternate zone entry strategies as a coach, no matter who your players are.
