So we have our only top 4 RD play on the 3rd pairing?
Because he is the only RD that can shelter our only LD that needs it... same depth problem.

And.. Is he the 3rd pairing by minutes?

Right now I would play that pair at least even with the others.. PP not included.

So you don't like the strategy but you may not be right about it either.

If I'm Jensen . I'd rather play with him than JBD or Hamonic

Basically. Were people expecting us to blow out a team that is 7-2-1 at home this season?

Some people live to bitch and complain.
The team has blown and lost enough games so far this season; they are entering the "out-of-playoffs" zone again. We have seen this before.

What does this have to do with the game happening right now? They are playing well against a good team.

Must win is a bit extreme though.

Let’s say they get a point tonight and 2 points tomorrow, walking away with 5 pts on the California trip… that’s an outcome you take every time.

4 points out, with 2 games in hand 22 games into the season, and it's "must win".

Unhinged.

They are hovering at below or at 50% which is not good enough to make the playoffs. The team must play better to get into the playoffs. If they lose this game and the next, the hole they will be in could be too deep to get out of.

Sure no one is disagreeing they need to win more than they lose going forward. I don’t think that means every game is must win.

Yes it would be good for a western trip; however, this team has not performed at a playoff level and needs to start performing consistently at that level if they are going to get into the playoffs. They sucked against SJ; they are playing better tonight, but they must get some wins now or they will be out of then playoffs soon.

Every game is a must win. We are trying to make the playoffs. You don't get in playing hard when you feel like it.
I think we have different definitions of must win. Mine has nothing to do with playing hard but they’ve been fine on that end.

LA is a good team. Sens have had a good PK, capitalized on their opportunities and played a decent road game. The Kings aren’t giving them much. They’ve certainly looked better but they also need to learn to win games like this.

Before today the Sens were only 8 points behind 1st place (division) Panthers, with 2 games in hand.
Too early to panic.
