It really isn't. If he didn't get fired after the brutal 3 games against ANA, LA and SJ who were all very beatable teams then a loss to much better NJ isn't getting him fired. We played like crap in all 3 of those games, had a few days off between games and still made no change. Pretty sure unless we lose like 7-10 in a row or something he is here until at least the end of the year.

Did anyone see the lines on daily faceoff ????motte 2nd line? The lines look so bad lol

I'd say we're getting hammered tonight unless our goalie makes 37 saves

Motte has been playing great the last few games. I think it's good to show if you go out and compete every night, you can move up the lineup. Let the plugs play 11 minutes a game.

Sure its good to see if you show up you can move up and down the lineup but what's next??? Fischer hustles and puts up 6 shots so hes next to larkin and raymond next game ???

I dont expect much out of today's game unless our goalie puts on a show

I have a feeling the Devils will be playing extra hard in this one after the Rasmussen taunt/ending to the last game against them. Feel like this could be a route quickly if we don't come to play and/or we don't get good goaltending.

I also feel like we tend to do poorly in day games. Anyone have an official record for this? Maybe I'm just misremembering but I swear we almost always lose day games
 
Talbot is in I hope. Is Kane back? I kinda hope......not. Idk I like Kane but maybe not with us? We won 2 without him.
 
It is Friday, 10 o'clock in the evening, I'm drunk as f*** and waiting for the greatest Red Wings performance this year!!!

What can go wrong?

Hope no Kane tonight again.
