I haven't watched him in the OHL at all this year, but Suzuki never seems to be working very hard when I've seen him in this tourney. Always kind of floating.

I'm a Suzuki fan, but yes, he needs to work on upping his intensity level.

Like you thought that rantanen would be 3rd line winger

The reason why I thought with Rantanen was still a completely different one. To me he looked way too soft and playing without much of intensity (it was about 3 years ago). I never questioned his hockey IQ or skills otherwise.

And yeah, I was wrong about Rantanen at that time for sure anyways, but still with the lack of hockey IQ that Kupari clearly has, it’s going to be extremely difficult and unlikely to become a real top 6 player in the NHL.

And hey, I never said it would be absolutely impossible for Kupari to ever be a top 6 player in the NHL, but very unlikely, and as a center I would even dare to say that he will never be a top 6 player in the NHL. A big maybe, as an energy winger with some hands, but low IQ and no playmaking skills.
