Derek Ryan (who is barely an NHL player any more and plays 4th line limited defensive minutes)... 0.64 pts/60 at 5v5

RNH who is stapled in the top 6 and plays premium offensive minutes... 0.84 pts/60 at 5v5

Switch those 2 players around in the lineup and I doubt "cooked Ryan" would look any worse right now.
