He is absolutely horrendous. If I could choose one player to scratch it's him. The giveaways he makes are astounding for a veteran player.

I think he’s been pretty good overall but the last 4-5 games have been mostly awful.

However there are players here where that sentiment has applied for pretty much the entire schedule (or at least what they’ve been healthy for) who go unscathed or get moved up the lineup.

Why can’t we bench Zibanejad, Trouba, or Lindgren? I get Smith stinks, but let’s be real. He hasn’t been as bad as the aforementioned three.

I applaud the effort from Lavi to try to find 3 balanced lines again.

Panarin and Chytil is something we've wanted to see more of for ages.

Lavi also recognizes Trouba has been an anchor all season, but there's so many broken eggs in the defenseman basket. It really should be Jones-Mancini with Lindgren or Trouba scratched.

I stayed away from the last couple games and I'm going to stay away from this one too. I'm kind of thinking that Trouba is going to have to deal with someone again this game after demolishing Barron the last time. Xhekaj who didn't play that night made threats. The way we're playing right now....it's not like I feel like I need to punish anyone it's just I don't want to punish myself.
