I sincerely doubt they travel, LA is such a mix of transplants that the odds of the their being a handful from Alberta are quite good.
 
I hope Dean doesn't give Scuderi a big contract for big bucks. It might be best to leave contract talks till after the season and playoffs are over.
 
I dunno what's up with Scuds lately. Maybe the crazy number of minutes he was playing earlier wore him out or something? I'm not jumping on the Scuderi-hater bandwagon because for a very long time he has been a super reliable stay-at-home defenseman, and realistically sometimes players just have slumps. But I sure would like to see that old Scuderi back soon -- without Mitchell or Greene we really need him playing well.

Yeah, a coworker of mine from Calgary goes to all the Kings V Flames games now that he lives here in Cali.
 
That last goal perfectly illustrates what Sutter means when he says save percentage is a team stat. You can't just leave your goalie out to dry like that.

Why not? It is school break here in Alberta. Besides, I traveled to LA from Alberta for a game and plan to do it again next season. Alberta is flush with cash, so my guess is they came down for a vacation and planned it around the Flames. Some teams have fans that support them win or lose. Trust me being a Saskatchewan Roughriders fan I know how that goes. I've traveled to see them play when they were the worst team in the CFL.
 
I don't remember the last time Scuderi has had number of bad games in a row. It's really hard to harp on him because he has been such a brick. But, that's going to end quickly if he doesn't turn it around. He's so important right now.

personally i think the extra ice time Scuds is pulling now is slowly taking its toll. pull the TOI and compare this year to the previous. my guess is he is playing 5-10mins more per game. i think he is slowly getting worn down due to being one of two guys the team leans on (the other being Drew). the difference is Scuds is 10+ years older. i think Scud's performance has been slowly deteriaorting game by game
