Not asking them to do something like this to the panthers but that was the most exciting thing in yesterday’s game lol. Hope we see some plays even if they lose.

Suzuki/Dvorak with a 22 yr old, a just turned 22 yr old, a 21 yr old and a 19 yr old lol

People can't understand the rebuild is actually going well because we actually STILL have a few problems to offload from the previous management incredibly
And what's worse, some people are already expecting Wins every night lol..

I hope they keep Guhle and Barron together, they looked amazing last night
And Lindstrom actually looked ok next to Matheson, who obviously needed a more stay at home ish guy like Gustav for that pair to work better, where as Barron was SO the wrong choice to put next to a Matheson

A lot of us had been clamoring for Guhle and Barron to play together for a while , and they CLEARLY gel well together, and I dont know if it's Robidas or MSL or wtv but they took far too long to realize these Duo's
Even Struble Kovasevich look like a decent 3rd pair now because people are sliding into the right chairs (and also Struble has been WTF better than Harris AND Xhekaj , il faut le dire)

They always looked good together.

I've said it a few weeks ago that they are this team top pair Ds...and then MSL put them with others the game after I wrote that.

Yeah for sure! Best of any Habs pairing this year in terms of scoring chances / expected goal differentials so it’s not only our biased eyes!!

Primeau in for this one is great to see. Definitely a showcase opportunity after Monty had his last game.

Panthers are looking strong lately. They'll be a good measuring stick for the Habs in development. Such a shame Xhekaj is unavailable for this one :(
Agreed on Xhekaj, I've come to hate the Panthers these past few years. They're a greasy bunch, would have been nice to have Jack in the lineup to keep them honest.

I don't think we were in 1 minute of any game against them last season. They played us with a chip on their shoulder and I could only surmise it had to do with the 9-3 drubbing we laid on them the final game the previous season...

Maybe things were said.

The first home game back after a long road trip is usually the hardest and with the game tonight being the 2nd half of a B2B this game against a Florida team, who was in Montreal waiting for the Habs, could get really ugly for Primeau and the Habs.

Very valid points. Some possible saving graces- Habs played last Saturday and had 4 days off before playing Columbus while this is Florida's 3rd in 4 nights.
Also, yes it is the first game after a long road trip but it's immediate which might help off set being home a few days before playing.

Grasping at straws I know
