Garbage call followed by a worse infraction immediately uncalled the next play. We know which team the NHL wants in the playoffs. It was the same crap in the first game versus Boston where they just kept trying to force the tie.

And they are never held accountable. Frankly I think they should at least have to report their rationale on key calls like goal reviews and major penalties. If they make the call then they should have no issue publicizing their reasoning.

Good 1st by Montreal. They're playing a solid game, and not allowing Florida to run them. Of course, 2nd period is on its way.

It's a huge difference from last year when it seemed Florida had 4g at end of 1 in every game.

I get that call on Matheson is a penalty, but the call in the pens - preds game in ot wasn't.

I wouldn't be surprised if that exact same play happens again and it isn't called in this game
